Reflected Text Tutorial

A popular technique used when creating logos is to create some text and then create the illusion that the text is sitting on a reflective surrface. The reflective surface creates ... reflected text! This is a pretty easy tehnique to incorporate into your logos and takes next to no time to complete.
Creating The Text
The first thing we need to do is create a new Fireworks document that is 400 x 400 pixels. This is way too big, but it gives us room to work in. Make sure that the background is white. Activate the text tool by clicking on it in the tools panel on the left or by pressing T on the keyboard. Type out your text. I used the font AsimovSans.
